TRC have the pleasure of working with a growing and successful business on the outskirts of York City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Manager. Ideally the successful candidate will have some knowledge of either Accounts Payable / Receivable. However, this is not essential. You must have a proven track record of successfully managing people.

The role

  • Oversee 6 members of staff and report into the General Manager
  • Lead by example and organise and assist the team on a day to day basis
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests
  • Enter and upload invoices into system
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Reconcile accounts transactions
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date to the purchase ledger
  • Assist with month end closing

The candidate

  • Ideally knowledgable of Accounts Payable / Receivable
  • 2 years experience in a Team Leader position
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software
