Our North East office is the beginning of our five-year expansion plan and we are joined by ex PRIME time UK Operations Director, Brent Pitcher, as our newly appointed Associate Director.

The Recruitment Crowd have undergone many changes recently and after months of preparation and a lot of hard work behind the scenes, we are delighted to announce that we will be opening the doors to our brand-new office in Washington, Newcastle, on the 6th April 2021.
We would like to reiterate the fact that our head office will remain in Leeds City Centre, where the TRC journey first began. We’ve been headquartered in Leeds supplying recruitment services Globally since 2012 and our North East office is merely the beginning of our five-year expansion plan. Washington was the decided location due to its commutability from Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland and Middlesbrough – allowing it to operate as a hub for North East recruitment specialists.
The COVID-19 pandemic has undeniably changed the working world for the foreseeable, which could lead you to wonder if it was really necessary for us to open a new office when a large proportion of the UK workforce are working from home. The answer to that is, YES! It was absolutely necessary for us to open a new office in the North East. At The Recruitment Crowd, we always strive for a no bull recruitment approach and having a fresh and exciting workspace will allow us to attract and retain top talent. A place with the capacity to house resources that can help us grow and achieve our expansion plans successfully.
It is all but inevitable that a business will find themselves in a situation where they desire a new office, whatever the reason may be. It just so happened that our expansion plans meant we could open a brand-new office, in a brand-new location. HOW EXCITING!
A new office in a new location, comes a new team of fantastic recruiters. To make things even more interesting, we have some ambitious and driven new hires who will be based at our Washington office and we are joined by ex PRIME time UK Operations Director, Brent Pitcher, as our newly appointed Associate Director.
With over 35 years’ experience within the UK recruitment industry, managing both SME single site business operations and large multinationals including start-ups, turnarounds and established/mature businesses, Brent is fully equipped to both manage a business and provide a seamless 360 recruitment experience. With this in mind, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for our North East office.
