The Company

Our client is a leading UK Vehicle Rental Provider. The reason for the vacancies is purely because of growth. They supply B2B vehicle rental, software, and management services across the UK. The role we are recruiting for is a Business Development Manager covering the East Midlands.


The Role

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Field-based B2B sales
  • Generating new business through client visits, networking, cold calling and telesales
  • Diary management and self -generation of a pipeline of prospects
  • Qualifying and developing prospects
  • Following a structured sales process to sell solutions
  • Exceeding targets for new business wins and KPI activity
  • Providing monthly and quarterly sales forecasts


The Candidate

  • You MUST be a proven new business HUNTER and well networked with UK Fleet Managers
  • You MUST have a track record of consistently winning opportunities between £100k and £500k
  • You will be comfortable working remotely so will be a self-starter who can effectively manage their own diary
  • You MUST have the full UK driving Licence and prepared to travel across the South East
  • You will be positive and pro-active with strong negotiating skills
  • You will be confident and have good written and verbal communication skills
  • You will be commercially astute – selling a market-leading proposition where value is a driving factor
