National Account Executive - FMCG

£20,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + 20 days Hols + BHs


The Company

Our client is a key player within the UK Foodservice & Retail Marketplace. They sell high-quality speciality food products into the Retail marketplace & Foodservice Wholesalers. The role we are recruiting for is a National Account Executive who will work with the Sales Director in a supportive Account Management role. This role will evolve massively over time, therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with 1-2 years FMCG Sales experience, either within Foodservice or Retail, who is looking to develop a fantastic career within a premium food business. 

The Role

As a National Account Executive you will be responsible for:

  • Selling Fine Foods into Foodservice Wholesalers and Retail customer at Head Office and Regional level
  • Initially, there will be a lot of supporting the Sales Director across all accounts with great exposure to some major customers as well as picking up some of the smaller Accts with direct responsibility
  • You will be working across all channels within the industry and as a result, developing a wide network
  • An element of new business but predominantly account management

The Candidate

  • Must have at least 1 years’ experience working within FMCG Account Management
  • Suitable for recent Graduates
  • Must have great interpersonal skills delivered with confidence and above all be highly professional
  • Must be very resourceful, ambitious and able to see the bigger picture whilst delivering on agreed targets
  • You will be a person with strong ethics and want to work with a high-end speciality product
  • You won’t be afraid to push boundaries and go the extra mile to achieve your goals
  • You will also have exceptional relationship-building skills
  • You must be tenacious and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful
  • You will be incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment – you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return
  • All candidates must be a real ‘foodie’ and have a genuine passion for the industry
  • Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Wembley
