7.5 Tonne Driver (CAT C1) - Wakefield

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Wakefield area. We are looking for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver (CAT C1) to join the team on a temporary/ad-hoc basis. 

Hours: Shifts across Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. Start times between 6-8am. 

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE 

Location: Wakefield, WF2. 

Job Type: Temporary/ad-hoc with an opportunity for more ongoing work. 

The role: 

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle for home and business removals. 

• Assisting with loading and unloading – this role involves a lot of manual handling. 

• Working with a driver’s mate to complete jobs efficiently. 

• Providing excellent customer service during the removal process. 

Requirements: 

• Full UK driving licence with 7.5 Tonne entitlement (category C1). 

• Minimum of 1-year proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. 

• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 

• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).  

• Full understanding of WTD legislation. 

• Excellent communication skills. 

• A safety-first mindset.
