Account Executive – Digital (Paid Search & Social)

We are recruiting for a very exciting role at a unique boutique full-service media agency based in Leeds, the agency covers all aspects of media and different channels form OOH, TV, Radio, Press, Online, Social, Digital, Major Events, OTT and Experiential.

The following is an outline of your key responsibilities – mapped out against our 6 core business pillars:


Finance, Sales, Marketing, Clients, Operations, People


They have been tiered in ascending order to reflect their priority/focus to your specific role.


  • Develop and implement strategies with a critical focus on driving positive paid search and paid social results.
  • Provide strategic counsel to client leads regarding paid social and paid search strategies
  • Create relevant QBR materials for content paid social and paid search campaigns.
  • Create reports utilising data studio on a weekly or monthly basis detailing work completed to relevant clients, ensuring:
  • All internal and external stakeholders are up to date with performance and work completed
  • Performance is in line with KPIs
  • Provide relevant industry updates to clients when appropriate e.g. changes to algorithms for paid social and paid search
  • Offer opportunities for regular channels of communication for clients to discuss strategy and work completed e.g. weekly or fortnightly calls.
  • Create high quality, engaging ads for client paid social and paid search campaigns
  • Ensure the health and performance of existing paid social and paid search retainers to encourage ongoing account growth
  • Provide strategic direction for paid social and paid search strategy based on prospective client goals and objectives to relevant pitches.
  • Research and provide insight into prospective clients paid social and paid search initiatives for pitch opportunities.
  • Regularly assess upsell opportunities (cross channel and digital retainer increases) for existing clients and collaborate with team members from relevant channels to pitch.
  • Support the development of proposals and contribute to new business pitches
  • Manage your time and capacity in accordance with the process (e.g. utilisation model)
  • Produce and implement processes to ensure efficient delivery of retainers




The Candidate

  • Keep up to date and share knowledge across all aspects of paid social and paid search.
  • Maintain key social partner and Search contacts
  • Brief Client Leads on any new paid social and paid search opportunities
  • Complete timesheets on a daily basis using Harvest
  • Source relevant courses as required to further knowledge and expertise in paid social and paid search
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team
  • Manage upwards where required, escalate issues/potential issues
  • Provide support to the wider agency on any day-to-day paid social and paid search
  • Contribute to case study creation for paid social and paid search
  • Create content for our newsletter as required
  • Manage tools appropriately to ensure good value for money
