Area Sales Manager – Luxury FMCG Brand

The Company

We are recruiting for a very exciting role at a world-leading FMCG luxury brand that has been established for over sixty years, the company headquarters are based in India and have offices/warehouses in the UK. The company is a growing international firm in all EMEA markets. This exciting permanent role aims to educate potential consumers on the company’s products and services. This role is mainly a B2B role, operating across the midlands region you will be working alongside architects, interior designers, and consultants.

 

The Role

  • Responsible to drive the business independently in the assigned area
  • Responsible to gather market intelligence and competitor’s activities
  • Appointing Dealers, local partners, projects, and showrooms
  • Setting up: agent network, retailers/distributors, customer care
  • Designation and developing brand promotion, launch event, exhibition, customer displays etc.
  • Identification and Management of key influencers in the industry.”
  • Prepare a comprehensive Business Plan for his area.
  • Identify and visit Dealers – educate them about the company and products
  • Visit Local Partners and distributors
  • Visit Architects and builders, record feedback and do follow up
  • Study and identify different channels for distributions that will be suitable for the territory
  • Identify other platforms like exhibitions and events where products can be presented
  • Prepare and execute product presentation in Local Events
  • Identifying the right methodology to make the end customer aware of the products
  • Analysing market trends to know the different customers
  • Develop customers by making calls and then following up
  • Educate and update the customers about the new trends
  • Educate customers about new products by Jaquar
  • Conversion of prospective customers
  • Experience in Business Development and ground working
  • Experience of doing market development and growth
  • Expertise in creating brand presence & visibility
  • Experience of/ Exposure to concept selling rather than product selling
  • Ability to catch on to leads and cues from everywhere possible
  • Ability to establish & maintain a wide network of resources
  • Strongly and effectively follow-up ability
  • Ability to attain market understanding
