Clinical/Forensic Psychologist. TRC Healthcare have teamed up with a very reputable private hospital based in Southwest London in assisting them in their search for a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist. The role would be a full-time position, based on-site with some work from home opportunity.

The hospital is a low secure facility for men aged 18 and over with severe and enduring mental health illness and complex behaviours.

The Role:

  • To be responsible for the delivery of psychological assessment and treatment to patients admitted to Battersea Bridge House.
  • To provide supervision and teaching opportunities within areas of competence and to undertake relevant clinical research.
  • To contribute to the assessment of newly referred/admitted patients, the formulation of patient treatment needs and the provision of psychological treatment programmes.
  • To monitor and supervise the implementation of Behavioural programmes within the service, ensuring that these are based on sound psychological principles and practice.
  • To assist with the monitoring and reviews of behavioural programmes and to ensure that staff have adequate understanding of the Cognitive Behavioural principles.
  • Where delegated to efficiently manage day-to-day material resources ensuring adherence to financial limits.
  • To ensure adherence to all policies and procedures relating to financial control within the unit.
  • To be competent in the performance of professional procedures and practices, bringing to the immediate attention of the Hospital Director any variations in these practices.
  • To develop professional skills and competencies, this will enhance the quality of the service being delivered.
  • The post holder will have access to a wide range of confidential information about patients, which must not be divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances.


Must have an active HCPC with Clinical or Forensic experience
