The Recruitment Crowd have teamed up with a great provider who offer services to clients in their own homes with complex care needs. They are currently seeking a Care Supervisor to join the team to cover a patch in and around Great Barr. My clients offer a flexible approach to working as long as the passion and work rate is there.
The role would be a split of being office and in the field depending on the needs of the business.
The Role:
- Responsible for the Service User compliance, including maintaining documentations, reviews & Risk Assessments via the care planner checklist
- Responsible for staff compliance, Spot Checks, Supervisions, Team Meetings and documentation audits
- Oversee & allocate the management of mandatory training alongside the clinical team / assigned nurse
- Recruitment, pre-screen, interview, induct & Introduce new care staff, monitor and oversee staff retention
- Payroll duties in line with the electronic system that we have in place
- Complete monthly service user visits (or more should it be required), report any complaints / concerns / incidents back to your Care Manager
- Log & track any incidents / accidents / near misses – alert the Care Manager and/or assigned nurse
- Service User check-in calls & recording to care planner
- Documenting important conversations, particularly in line with staff management via Care Planner / systems in place
- Completing Audits as per task lists – these maybe subject to change to meet the business needs
- Bring part of an on-call system / Rota for staff and Service Users
- Prioritising own daily workload, ensuring tasks are completed using your time management skills
- Rota planning / sickness management / Staff planning
