Forklift Drivers – Flexi, Bendi, Counterbalance and Reach

Role Overview

  • Select and pack products for daily orders following our clients Warehouse procedures in a timely manner
  • Assist with the unloading of shipping containers on arrival, with products weighing 25kg +

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack order for customers as per order sheets distributed. Locate products in aisles from pick notes.
  • Complete relevant paperwork with signatures.
  • Ensure all products are correctly labelled and quantities are checked. Assist in unloading containers.
  • Wrap pallets as required.
  • Assist supplier drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles. Maintain good housekeeping
  • Operate and maintain Warehouse vehicles and equipment Ensure fork lifts are checked weekly and all problems reported Assist with stock movement and carry out stock checks People & Communication
  • Participate in all training as required though our clients training portal
  • Attend monthly one to one/review meetings
  • Ensure full uniform and correct PPE are worn at all times.

Health & Safety/Equality & Diversion

  • Follow all processes and procedures outlined in our clients Health & Safety Policy ensuring the health and safety of self, customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure reporting processes in relation to building maintenance and repairs are adhered to.
  • Practice and promote our clients Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. 

Data Management

  • Be responsible for the compliance of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 to ensure data security is maintained.

Other

  • To carry out other duties within the scope of the role or that which are commensurate with the level of the Picker Packer Fork lift position.
