Motor Mechanic

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Huddersfield area. We are looking for multiple Motor Mechanics to join the team full time. 

 

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am until 5pm (or alternate weekends) 

Pay Rate: £23,000 – £35,000 dependant on experience 

Location: Huddersfield, HD3 

Job Type: Permanent 

 

The role: 

  • Conduct thorough examinations of vehicles, trailers, and machinery to ensure compliance with MOT (Ministry of Transport) standards. 
  • Identify and effectively address various types of malfunctions and issues. 
  • Perform maintenance and restoration work on vehicles or their individual components, employing the necessary equipment and tools. 
  • Stay updated on the latest product information and participate in training sessions as necessary to enhance your expertise. 
  • Be prepared to undertake additional tasks as dictated by your workload and operational needs. 

Requirements: 

  • Experienced Mechanic with a demonstrated history of time-tested skills: 
  • Proficient in independently organizing tasks and thriving under pressure. 
  • Familiarity with diagnostic computer systems is a valuable asset. 
  • Adept at collaborating within a team environment. 
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of interaction.
