£45,000 + Bonus + Car or Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + 25 days Hols + BHs
The Company
Our client is market leader within the Construction industry. We are currently looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to head up the Sales side of the business.
The Role
As a National Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Driving a team of four sales reps across the UK
- Manage and monitor performance of the multi-million pound division budget against ambitious KPIs
- Have a clear and full understanding of how budgets have been calculated along with related figures during the year (e.g. customer spend)
- Manage the performance and development of the Sales team to achieve commercial targets
- Recruit and train adequate staff required to enable growth within the division
- Identify and generate new business opportunities by contacting potential customers, discovering, and exploring new opportunities

The Candidate
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, preferably in the piling industry
- The ability to read drawings and understand the construction process
- The ability to sell the solutions offered by the company in addition to the sale of products, whilst building long-term relationships
- Territory planning and customer management experience
- Be a good team player who is able to build relationships both internally and externally
- With a growth in international sales, proficient written and verbal communication in a European language would be advantageous but not essential
- Negotiation skills
- Strong business mind-set with financial skills
- Results driven
- High integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent IT literacy, numeracy and analytical skills
- You must be willing to travel to the North West two days a week
