Based at the UK’s most modern production facility in Leeds – where we have both Dye Sublimation and UV print and finishing equipment capable of producing almost any point of sale or large format branding. We produce a high-quality print for many major retailers; sports events; construction and Automobile companies. You will have seen our print today as our print is in every major town and city.
We are seeking an experienced middleweight Artworker to ensure the efficient processing of all artwork to proof clearance and then into production. The role is busy and requires accuracy, productive efficiency and flexibility to meet deadlines. It also requires good interpersonal skills to support customers and our Sales Department. The role reports directly to our Studio Manager.
**FULL JOB DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE TO CANDIDATES UPON SUCCESSFUL TELEPHONE SCREENING**
•Adobe Creative Suite. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
•Large format digital and dye-sublimation knowledge
•An understanding of digital file formats (PDF, tiff, eps)
•An understanding of the Mac operating system
•Preparing supplied artwork for large format production utilising Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator
•Image manipulation and colour correction where required
•Colour managed proof output utilising GMG software
•Conform to precise procedures and guidelines
•Quality control of Print PDF files, Cut files and Proof Specification PDFs
•Data input and reporting via MIS
•Maintain good communication skills internally and externally
•Work proficiently as an integral part of a busy, friendly production team
•Flexibility to meet the demands of the Company and deadlines defined
•Maintain and manage good housekeeping methods on all systems and workstations along within the workplace.
