Project Manager – Catering Equipment
The Company
My client is a Commercial Catering Equipment Distributor also specialising in kitchen design and installation. The company, having recovered from the pandemic, are currently going through some very exciting times and as such, we are now recruiting for key people to achieve the goals in place. We are looking to source a Project Manager based in the South to come on board and play an integral part in the company’s continuous growth and success.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
The delivery and change management mechanisms necessary to interface with main contractors/clients at each stage of design submission, technical services coordination, program and site planning, physical installation and setting to work/certification of a project.
This includes commercial management via site instructions, design variations via tech subs and RFI’s and closing projects via as-built drawings, commissioning certs, snag lists and training
You will be overseeing multiple projects from cradle to grave, supervising and organizing subcontractors, providing support for all project issues, managing time and delivery deadlines, managing project team and subcontractors, dealing with enquiries and troubleshooting any problems that arise, liaising with clients and internal resources
The Candidate
- You will have previous experience of working as a Project Manager capable of working on similar sized projects, with knowledge of commercial catering equipment
- You must be able to communicate at all levels and have strong negotiation skills with the ability to ‘close the deal’
- You will be ambitious, professional, honest and hard-working
- You must work well under pressure and be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- You will live within the South of England
