Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

My client is recruiting for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, with a competitive salary of £45,000 – £55,000 p.a. plus a performance bonus.  

Role: 

  • Lead and contribute to Infrastructure projects as a networking expert, handling projects of all sizes. 
  • Implement network and infrastructure projects in complex multi-tenant environments. 
  • Focus on customer satisfaction while aligning with IT strategy, compliance, and industry standards.
     

Requirements: 

  • Proficiency in high- and low-level design creation. 
  • Experience with switching and routing in a commercial setting. 
  • Strong skills in Enterprise Network Infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting 
  • Ability to support SD-WAN Networks. 
  • Knowledge of Cisco & Meraki Routing & Switching. 
  • Familiarity with data center, compute, and application environments (on-premise and cloud). 
  • Managing and maintaining firewalls in a commercial environment (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Meraki desirable). 
  • Expertise in wireless access points and controllers (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet…). 
  • Competence in MPLS, BGP & OSPF, and Load Balancing (e.g., F5 BIG IP, FortiGate). 
  • Experience in engaging with customers (internal or external) for solution design, delivery, and support.
